Since the distinction of gaining the highest award possible for musical performance at The Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands, Andreja Malir has enjoyed a solo career which has brought her to Germany, Sweden, Spain. Switzerland, Israel, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

In 1988 Andreja was one of the youngest principals to be appointed to the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and has appeared many times as soloist with the N.S.O.I. playing all the major Harp concerti.

Andreja is a Fellow of Trinity College London and holds a diploma for the interpretation of Spanish Music awarded to her by the legendary virtuoso Nicanor Zabaleta.

More recently Andreja has fulfilled her ambition to combine her skills and produce something new in Harp music.

‘Through the Mirror of Sound’ brings the beautiful sonorities of the Concert Harp to a wider audience and creates a new image for this most ethereal of instruments.
