Alongside her work in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Andreja has enjoyed many years as harpist with the Irish Film Orchestra, work she has always loved since first stepping on to the sound stage for the recording of Da, with Elmer Bersntein.
She has performed on such soundtracks as, The Mask –Randy Edelman; The Field, Da, Rambling Rose, –Elmer Bernstein; Remains of the Day, The Proprietor, Ballad of the Sad Café, –Richard Robbins; Dancing at the Lughnasa –Bill Whelan to name a few.
Two years ago, Andreja brought her her love of film music one step further by enrolling with Screen Training Ireland. To date she has completed six modules in the art of film scoring, covering areas such as — Mechanics of Film Scoring, 20th Century Harmony, and most recently, a course in orchestration with Conrad Pope. All modules completed with Screen Training Ireland have an accreditation to the extension course in UCLA..
